Work Routine

I read some of my mates blog, and discovered that my blog's link was stacked down to the bottom of the page. Unsurprising, as I didn't keep my blog updated for few months due to "After Work Depressing Syndrome". Haha... That was a crap actually.

Speaking of my work, I do not have much story as working is just keeping loops circulating. Don't have much surprise for my daily routine:

6.30 am : Wakes up tiredly from bed. I sleeps more that I did in Cyberjaya but this is what I just can't explain.

7.10 am - 7.40 am : Drives from house and reaches company. Reaching early doesn't mean I start my work early, as trainees are not allowed to have desktops and I am basically borrowing laptop from company. Getting laptop from people who is late to work is troublesome. I never reach my office late, but there's once I reach office at 8.08 and that breaks my clean record.

8.30 am -8.45 am: Has short breakfast break in company. Breakfast food in canteen used to be nice last time, but not anymore ever since they changed the "service provider".

9.00 am -11.00 am: Starts my daily work. Occasionally, watching my colleague playing minesweeper. Haha ... I think she will see this eventually.

11.00 am - 11.45 am: Starts getting restless, emotionally flies to elsewhere, thinking of where to eat lunch.

12.00 pm - 1.00 pm: I separate this part into 2 parts here. Firstly, eating in company just takes us 15 to 30 minutes. The leftover free time are used to either having a small sleep, completing undone work, playing minesweeper or FB. Need not to say, eating outsides consumes traveling time, which all the unproductive actions after meals are traded for traveling.

1.00 pm - 4.00 pm: Continues my work.

4.00 pm - 4.45 pm: Everyone starts to think something else again. For me and another 2 trainees, we always think on how to spend the unfinished allowance on something like boxes of fruit juice. Why? Particularly it's because the canteen staffs always import those fruit juice in the afternoon, at the time that normally the canteen is empty. Another why? I just don't know the reason. Might have to ask them.

4.58 pm - 5.00 pm : OK, here i particularly stressing the time 4.58 pm as at that time, somebody is shutting down his laptop. Haha ... He just don't want to lost a single minute for the company and normally he is leaving at 5.00 pm, or sometimes 5.01 pm. For myself, I shuts down my laptop at 5 pm and leaves the office at 5.05 pm unless there are uncompleted tasks. However, suffice to say, leaving at 5.05 pm is the latest among the trainees, which makes myself to be understandably proud.

5.30 pm - 6.00pm: Reaching home in this range of time, depending on the traffic. From then, my real life starts :-)

I finally clicked on the "sign in" button after much struggle. Partly, there are some stories I found it unsuitable to share.

I can't label myself as a hot tempered guy, but recently there is people who made me real mad. To be exact, this fellow blamed twice his fault to me. I kept quiet, but doesn't mean I allowed him to do so. I stepped back as I don't like to quarrel.

Alright, just ignore that. Since I wasn't updating my blog for a long time, perhaps I should update the readers with some information. I just finished my final exam for my Delta year. Moving into the final year of my study, I will be committing my internship in Plexus for 4 months starting from next week.

Just hope that, I will be able to cope with the load full of works to be come. That's all. Bye.

It has finally came to it's end.

I finally wrapped up my Mini Project with presentation and report submission yesterday.

It has hunted me for almost 2 months ever since the day I came back from my midterm break.
It left me nothing but tension, fear and restlessness.

To some of my friends who don't know what exactly I was conducting, here you are:

My task in this Mini Project is actually to create a pair of low cost infrared modem and also a standalone interfacing software. In short, it's something similar to MSN messenger but we added in several applications. I particularly like the media player that we have created.

The Lecturer

The following script wasn't written by me, it's just a scene that I suffered from just few hours ago.

Date : 24-6-2009
Time : 6.00 pm - 8.00 pm
Venue: FOE CR2045
Characters: Student A, Student B, IS C ( IS stands for international student) , and the Lecturer ( I guess it's not proper to name him out, so I'll use the lecturer to represent him. )

The story started at 6.00 pm when The Lecturer came in. Everyone was restless, particularly those who has just attended Engineering Maths 5 class straight for 2 hours.

He started to explain the syllabus :

The Lecturer : Blah blah blah ... Ok now tell me what's Nyquist Sampling Theorem ? I remember I have taught you before.

Everyone started to look for the note.

The Lecturer : You? You? You? (Pointed to several students)

Everyone kept silent. Some of the students found the answer, which is fs > 2 fm.

The Lecturer : You don't give me equations. You are expected to explain the whole concept not just giving me what equals to what. It's a type of communication. You have to know how to communication with others. You, tell me what's Nyquist Sampling Theorem. (pointed to Student A)

Student A : Blah Blah Blah... (A simple equation of the takes over 20 words to describe it)

The Lecturer : It's not totally correct. Nyquist Sampling Theorem describes ......

He continued lecturing. About half an hour later,

The Lecturer :Blah Blah Blah ... To reduce quantization noise, you need large bandwidth or smaller bandwidth? You ? (Pointed to Student B)

Student B : Larger bandwidth.

The Lecturer : Why?

Student B : ....... ( Silence ) .......

The Lecturer : You know how to answer but you don't know how to explain? You come and sit in front.

Student B took his items and came to front seat grudgingly. The Lecturer then continued his teaching.

After for another half an hour, he gave us a short break for 10 minutes and then he continued.

The Lecturer : Blah blah blah ...... You all learned Analog Communication right? Now, tell me. What's the different between baseband signal and bandpass signal?

The class was in total silence again. Short after while,

IS C : Blah blah blah ...... ( Obviously he was trying to answer the question, but I don't understand what he was talking about.)

After IS C answered the question, The Lecturer smiled. IS C smiled too.

The Lecturer : What do you all think? Is it correct?

After a short while,

The Lecturer : Don't give me bull shit answer.

I noticed the face on IS C. Changed abruptly. Kinda insulting.

The Lecturer : Such a simple thing you all don't know. You all are future engineers, can't even answer a simple question like that. You all are year 3 student, without any basic knowledge. 20 years ago, a year 3 student knew much a lot than you do now. I don't know how you all going to pass your interview and get your first job next time. I don't know how will you survive next time. Don't expect your boss will spoon feed you with the solutions. The boss will give you the task and a deadline. You all have to complete the job no matter what way do you use.

I reckon that he has his point. But I guess it's not so hard to talk properly.

He continued. Until a page in the slides, he highlighted 2 paragraph and ask us to read and understand it. He said the paragraph has contained sufficient information on the next slide.

Short after this, he forwarded to the next slide. It's a graphical representation on Eye Patterns or Eye Diagrams.

The Lecturer : After reading the previous slide, do you know how to draw it ? You? (Pointed to Student B).

Student B shook his head and denied. He started to scold again.

The Lecturer : You all don't know English? You all can score 8As 10As last time, so proud, but you can't even understand a simple english like this. Last time our lecturer never teach this when I was in undergraduate. I have to read refrence books and I have to teach you now.

After another lecture for about 20 minutes, he finally released us. And that was the end of the story.

Though his criticism was justified, it was slightly harsh anyway.

Prototype

I am currently following this game -> PROTOTYPE.

It's a fine game indeed. Nicely made, imbued with violence and lots of bloody scene. I guess it wont interests the girls unless they like brutality and senseless killing.

BBQ

2 weeks before I am right now was just the starting of my holidays. And now, it ended.

I have been watching various personal messages in messengers complaining on the short and abruptly ended holidays.

Well, no complaints, as we had an extra 1 week holidays before our finals in trimester 1 last year, which are allocated specially for Hari Raya.

It's not preferable, but I can't say anything. However, it's more important that you enjoy your holiday. I do, how about you ?

I had a BBQ party with my fellow cousins, just before I came back to Cyberjaya. The party was quite merry. Hereby I post some of the photos taken :

Injury

In just two days ago, I went to consult a sports specialists (of course he's a doctor) .

After pressing my knee here and there,

over and over,

leaving me in utmost pain,

informed me that my ligament has inflamed

and need to recuperate for 2 to 3 weeks

with Ultrasound Physiotherapy.

This has ate my plans up,

cost me few hundreds

and left me with tons of sighs.

I went for the Physiotherapy Centre last night.

Mostly aged men and women is there with ached back and sore legs.

I'm the youngest of course, and the only one who's having knee problem.

I guess I'll need to take good care of my legs next time.

And a small advice to my friends

Do not compel yourself to continue with more sports if you're injured. It will make it worse.

I'm Jaded

in these days.

I wore myself out, getting wearier and wearier because of my assignments and studies lately.

I discovered that my lifestyle was in a deep mess recently, sleeping at 5 and get up at noon.

I guess it's time to put myself back to the track, start nurturing back my fitness.

Despite of my tardiness in my studies, I still tried my best to draw out my slightest free time for futsal.

Nevertheless, I have been getting cracking noise from my knee when I tried to stretch it. I don't know what's going on, as it isn't pain at all, but I hope I don't need to see doctors real soon.

Just finished my last assignment in this trimester and ended my assignments streak, I can say finally I am able to take a scrap of time to lighten my blog. Assignments devastatingly ate up all my time these days.

Well, I apologize to fellow mates here as I am still unable to put on the pictures of my birthday celebrations to my blog. I guess I will need time to compile it and final exams is just around the corner, so I will leave it as my job in the trimester break. Long posts are meant for holidays :)

Kinda simple and random post for today, I will post some internal shots taken in the VIP room of Grand Hall. The shots was taken during my working as an protocol committee in Career Fair 2009, which is a 'combination' of ushers and PR. (huh ?)

Another Unlucky Incident

I guess I am unlucky these days. Guess what? My Barracuda 7200.11 500GB of harddisc just head crashed within 1 day without any implication. Before that, there isn't any problem at all.

And this is what we call head crash:

Basically head crash happens when the read-write head of a hard disc drive touches its rotating platter resulting in catastrophic damage(which what we usually say scratches) to the magnetic media on the platter surface. Normally it won't happen unless you shake your hard disc and I vow I didn't touch anything even my CPU at all.

I searched back for my resit and I discovered that it is dated on 14/09/2008. Just half a year this drive is actually lasted. Should I feel happy that I can still claim for warranty or disappointed just because it spoiled?

I'm still in a sense of disbelieve right now. Where goes the quality control?

B is the new C

The student actually submitted this to his professor in a true/false exam. His professor sent him an e-mail the following day:

Dear Michael,

Every year I attempt to boost my students’ final grades by giving them this relatively simple exam consisting of 100 True/False questions from only 3 chapters of material. For the past 20 years that I have taught Intro Communications 101 at this institution I have never once seen someone score below a 65 on this exam. Consequently, your score of a zero is the first in history and ultimately brought the entire class average down a whole 8 points.

There were two possible answer choices: A (True) and B (False). You chose C for all 100 questions in an obvious attempt to get lucky with a least a quarter of the answers. It’s as if you didn’t look at a single question. Unfortunately, this brings your final grade in this class to failing. See you next year!

Cooking Disaster

Ok. I can't say this is impossible to happen, but it is unlikely to happen. I thought kitchen cooking utensils are made firm and tight. And this is what happened to me a week ago :

It is frustrated when half of your cooking is gone and in the end, I spent time cleaning up the mess in the kitchen instead of enjoying the meal. What an unlucky day.

New CPU Assembler

Just 1 week ago, I receive a call from my father saying that my house's pc has K.O. - ed. It's an aged pc, which I expect it might KO someday, so I'm not really surprise anyway. After I searched for the parts and calculated the price, with a budget of 2k, I bought these parts:

The parts will be further labeled in the latter parts of the post.

I decided to reused some parts of my old pc, since they're still can be used. I brought and reused this display card from my pc in Cyberjaya, and i got a new one for it :)

The parts are scattered on the table (for quick and easy access) .

And of course, there're times when you got no space to place everything on, so I have used the sofa of my house. Certainly, I got a lot of scoldings from my mum >.<

A most handy and important tool in assembling a pc.

Outer layers of the casing are removed, for the installations of fans and dvd drive. After that, I started to install the parts into the casing.

Half way through [with just Motherboard, CPU, Heat sink and PSU(Power Supply Unit) installed].

80% done.

The build under beta testing.

Yeah. It works. Therefore, I proceed to add in things and wrap it up.

The final build of the pc (after adding in a reused dvd drive and RAM into it). Here it is.

All the other parts including keyboard, mouse, printer, speakers and monitor are reused back as well. It's cheap build anyway. In total, I used up around 4 hours assembling this new CPU(including taking photos >.<). Have to get this out as soon as possible as I'll need to complete report with Matlab. That's all. See ya.

Internet Explorer (IE) Vs Mozilla

Well, I found this somewhere. It particularly matched my usage of Internet Explorer (IE), I couldn't agree more. However, I would like to change the green zone of the pie chart to " downloading torrents" as my Mozilla Firefox doesn't respond to torrents (which I don't know why, lol) and I basically won't use IE for surfing the internet either.

A Tragedy

The teacher asked both men if they would like to lead the discussion of the word "tragedy". So the illustrious Rev Jackson asks the class for an example of a "tragedy".

One little boy stood up and offered: "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy." No," says the Great Jesse Jackson, "that would be an accident."

A little girl raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy." I'm afraid not," explains the exalted Reverend Al. "That's what we would call a great loss. " The room goes silent. No other children volunteered.

Overseas

The silent night is killing me, particularly boredom. Everyone has went back to hometown (since Monday is a holiday), and I am here.

I think I myself should study, but I just can't keep it going on. Occasionally, I committed few clicks on my computer.

I just browsed through some friends' photo. They are studying overseas, having fun and get along with foreigners.

Actually, I am quite fond of studying overseas. Still wondering whether should I go for it last time? Bah, my parents don't have that money and I don't have the qualification to get any scholarship either.

Looking forward to a chance of living in overseas, perhaps in future?

Deleted photos can come back and haunt you, says Chong

KUALA LUMPUR: Beware! With computer softwares that are able to recover deleted data from handphones and personal computers, pictures or videos that are assumed long gone can still come back to haunt you.

Since 2007, there have been more than 13 cases of women who have had their private pictures publicly flaunted on the Internet or via the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS).

“Most of these cases involved women whose former partners exposed the private photos out of spite,” said MCA Public Services and Complaints Department Head Datuk Michael Chong at a press conference yesterday.

He added that most people were unaware that simply deleting the photos from handphones were insufficient as there were ways to extract the deleted data.

Selangor and Federal Territory Telecommunication Association acting committee member Ivan Er said free, easy-to-use data restoration programmes were easily available on the Internet.

“With just a mere click of the mouse, all deleted data can be restored,” said Er, adding that users should reformat and demagnitise their storage mediums after data deletion as a precaution.

Er also warned that servers of communication service providers could keep records of video calls as there was no stopping rogue employees.

“The privacy policies of these telco companies disallow it, of course,” he said.

The association aims to educate users on the latest frauds and hazards of the telecommunication industry.

I was browsing through forums hope to get a temporary solution for my crappy internet. Was expecting to see something like ipconfig /flushdns. However, I saw one post which I'm particularly agree with. It sounds like this :

I've complaint to them many times (twice a month average) and below is 100% what they will reply :

1) Check telephone line quality -I'm sure my dog did not bite it
2) Bypass splitter/micro filter/fax machine/lightning protector. -I don't have any of those don't blame them.
3) Stand alone connection, from wall socket to modem (No parallel line). -It's a direct connection not more than 1 meter.
4) Flush DNS (Domain Name Server) -with cmd prompt not with water.
5) Switch off the modem, unplug/re-plug all cables, wait for 5 to 10 minutes before switching on the modem. - I will go cook 'indo mee'.
6) Create new dialer and configure DNS (Domain Name Server). -which with HIGH PING & HIGH % packet lost
- (Preferred DNS Server: 202.188.0.133/Alternate DNS Server: 202.188.1.5)
7) Clear Temporary Files, Delete Cookies and Delete Files under Internet Options. -Now they blame this.
8) Clear SSL Certificates (Internet Option).
9) Restore default browser settings. -Means do nothing.
10) Temporarily disable firewall settings. -Welcome virus.
11) Perform Windows scan. -Bill Gates they blame you now.
12) Temporarily disable anti virus software. -welcome too torjan.
13) Disable P2P application. -OMFG I can't even walk you say don't run.
14) Reboot computer and the modem. -check your socket fius also
15) Do a bandwidth test from our website.
16)Format your hard disk.
17)Buy a new PC.

CONCLUSION : they probably mean the broadband problem is cause by you or others, its not from TMNUTs or Screamyx.

The last 2 are ridiculous. I think the author was joking. Lol.

Sony Ericsson Idou 12.1 MP Camera Smart Phone !

Sony Ericsson showcased an upcoming mobile phone by the concept ‘Idou’, which is going to give us a glimpse of what lies ahead for us, and what Sony Ericsson is currently working on. The ‘Idou’ is one of a number of projects that will be launched this year under the umbrella of Entertainment Unlimited.

The ‘Idou’ is a cameraphone with special focus on media. It will feature a 12.1-megapixel camera with auto focus and an array of advanced camera touch features and a xenon flash. I’m guessing the sensor in this phone will the Sony’s new 1/2.5-inch 12.25 megapixel sensor for mobile phones. That would be awesome! The Media menu will now be fully optimized for the 3.5-inch 16:9 widescreen touch screen, and will enable you to tap directly into your favourite movies, TV-series, video clips and tracks.

The phone will be based on what will become the Symbian Foundation operating system, which means that thousands of applications will be available online. PlayNow will be pre-installed, and will allow you to personalize the phone.

The ‘Idou’ will be available during the second half of 2009 - naturally marketed by a different product name.

How I wish to have that phone. Surely it will come with a hefty price tag. It will surely have a big clash with iphone.

Alright, kinda upset now, for not able attend the reunion gathering that will be held by fellow primary friends tomorrow.

Since I have some free time now, I gonna post some Christmas decorations in malls. It was a great event indeed, however it's not very much significant to those non-Christians, so do I. I don't eat turkeys, exchange presents and organizing parties(there were small ones, but not big ones) in Christmas. What I do for the past 20 years was, hanging around malls, getting to feel the liveliness that Christmas has brought to me.

And I still remember last time, when I was small, I did hung one side of sock on the window, hoped to get something from Santa Claus. Yeah, I received something, but in the meantime I knew it was my parents, who worked hard to fulfill the dreams of their children. Though words are not spoken by me, I still wish to let them know, I love them.

Year after year, when I started to get elder, I have traveled from place to place in Christmas. I traveled to Singapore, just a few years back. That's the most recent Christmas travels before my Genting trip in the past few weeks in this year. Few years after that, after I committed to MMU, I started to celebrate with my friends. I didn't go for countdowns these years as I know, countdowns are not for those who're using public transports. Sad.

After every few years, there's a turning point. I am wondering what will be done in Christmas in the next few years?

There's a part in the slide that I wished that I could join you all, which is the part of the video that displayed the thumb-up of everyone beside the "Moneyman" and saying " Excel Good !". That was fun, at least they can get themselves into the camera.

Lately, I find it hard to write some special things in my blog as I found myself was going through the same life, day after day. Does it means my life is not as interesting as others do? I don't know.

"Tiring Thursday" has finally come to the end, at least for this week. Recall back the things that I have learned in my Financial Planning and Wealth Management class, I have no regrets though it's carried out 4 hours in one shot every week. Total up, including breaks in between, I have 11 hours in the school on Thursday.

Admittedly, I do enjoy the times in the class. I find it interesting to be exposed things that I would not learn in Engineering field even in the future. Just as the name, we are taught to plan and manage our own finance so that we wont run into debt next time when we happened to be in financial crisis. Refresh back, every single group in the class has used the word learn to survive in financial crisis as their introductory on the reasons to take financial planning as their co-curriculum subject. The lecturer asked, is the happening of financial crisis will be so probable in future? That was funny.

I concur that life is just a form of planning (quoted from Shell advertisement) so we definitely need to learn it.

Well, I'll be having an exam next week and I still could not stop doing rubbish even in my slightest free time. Now, I'm trying to get rid of my laziness, and hope I won't put in wrong foot again. I don't usually say this but this time, Lens Gambateh !

When I'm writing this, my legs are in utmost pain.

Just finished basketball matches with robust challenges from a sissy. Frankly speaking, I never played with such a people before. He can foul every single point in the game. No, it's not just foul, it's a heavy foul, which make us consequently fall down like a cricket and injured .

I, personally fouled by him at least 4 to 5 times in a game, including chest, legs, hands and every single part that he can foul. I fell down twice, yah, twice. My friend either, but he's more serious as he bleed in the game. Imagine, those who can put me down on the floor should be those who're really strong as I admit I'm quite fat :) And he still thinks that he was correct and we were accusing him.

Doubtfully, I don't think I can out for sports anymore for the next few days T_T

Well, my lesson of the day is, do not underestimate or mess up with sissies!

1 post in a month. Hmm ... It seems I do not taking my time to update my blog. Holiday is giving me time to do so but I didn't.

Since it's approaching November, I think it's time for me to at least update my blog.

Recently, as usual, I went back to my school again. It changed a lot since the day I left the school. It reminds me about my memorable days in school last time. Days that we study, eat and play together.

I can say, sport is our life for the past, present and for future also. We won't miss out the chance to play basketball even we're back to school. But frankly speaking, we went back to school mainly because of this reason. Lol.

Time to catch up much abandoned blog.

Just saw one of my housemates is having a heavy run on his exams, I'm quite thankful that I don't have 7 subjects in one shot in 6 days. Too bad, he still have to go for exams though it's Sunday. Pathetic. Hope that he can manage everything well.

I have messed up my everything these days. Messy lifestyles, messy mind, messy table, and even worst, messy dreams. Do anyone face a situation when there's still weeks away from the exams but you see test papers in your dream? That was truly terrifying.

"X down, Y more to go". I used to see this in my messenger always. This has become an idea for me to create Lens Law ( it's stupid :P) :

Lens Law ( Not Lenz Law) has stated that in the statement of " X down, Y more to go", X is denoted as the subjects cleared, and Y represents the subjects left. X + Y = Subjects taken in this semester. X/(X+Y) = ratio of subjects cleared ( if equals to 1, means HOORAY ! )

Lol. Have been studying lots of theory recently, I am totally out of my sanity now. Hahaha ....

Life's boring when you will need to deal with studies all the time, particularly in study weeks.

Somebody has asked me to treat my text book as story books. I tried, what I think was, how come I have to continue reading a story that is not understandable and not interesting at all. Hahaha ...

There's a lot to be studied. And now I'm still not at the half of the progress yet. A Meaningful Story

All of a sudden, with no reason, I came across with an email which describes a short story. It sounds like this:

Nail In The Fence
There was once a boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time when he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.

Over the next few weeks, as he learned how to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said :" You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife into a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one".

A meaningful one. It took me 5 minutes to read this, but it benefits me for life.

National Holiday

The National Day, it actually means nothing to me but a holiday, countdowns and cars running around with flags.

Kinda special for this time, what I saw was, Merdeka Set Meals. It was available in the Gasoline restaurant at the look up point in Cheras. It was the only available as we cannot call for others things. And the only difference between them was the small tiny cutie flag on it. It looks like KFC instead. Lol.

I'm just about to review the movie that I watched last night, "Money No Enough 2". As usual, a production from Jack Neo, the name seems to be in broken english again, as a continuation of "I Not Stupid". I think the movie is supposed to be a comedy, but it turns out be a mixture of laughters and tears. However, it do offers some jaw dropping scene.The most significant one was the "Mickey Mouse". I guess anyone who watched the movie should know about that. Lol.

One Comes After Another

Well, my life isn't getting any easier though I just finish 2 exams last week, Electromagnetic Theory and Moral Studies. The next paper will be Microcontroller and Microprocessor Systems, which is the paper that I don't have total confidence on it since I got B for the related subject last trimester. I keep bring this matter up as it's dissatisfying to me >.<

Other than that, I still have lots of assignments and lab report as well. Well, that's MMU life. The lecturers like to put all the DEADlines together which consequently make us DEAD like a zombie.

Another Ended Holiday

Phrase " back to studies" always comes after the word "holidays".

As usual, my holidays has ended abruptly. Well, it's not actually, as the holidays are being announced since last year, but it's just a feeling of mine after my consecutive enjoyments ended abruptly.

Lots of people asked me : Why do I seems to be so busy in holidays? Should be studying like hell already? No, I didn't ! I totally left out my studies and my assignments. Sad. Basically, what I did was, eating everyday. Lol. I think I have grown some weight. It's time to keep it back.

Major drawback of this enjoyable holiday, is the left out studies. And now it's only 3 days away from my midterm exam. However, I don't have any slightest idea on the subjects that I am going to be tested. Hahaha ...

Finally, I am taking my time to update this deadly blog. Partly is because I think I won't be able to do this for the next few weeks.

As time goes by, as usual, we are getting hell lots of assignments and midterm tests. Here, I've to single out that I hate assignments. I guess this is common to everyone. Yah, right, but the main thing I hate about assignments was the deadline plus the coverage. I don't hate the deadline, as well as the coverage, but I'm annoyed when both of them are added up.

Why do I say so? Well, take an instance, you are supposed to submit the assignments by Friday, lets say, but the lecturer will only teach the related topics on either Mon or Tues. It isn't that bad anyway, when the lecturer is not helpful. They will either direct you to some other lecturers:"You should see Mr. blah blah blah, he is in charge of this", or just simply answer you like this :" You are supposed to try the question by yourself......" Worst still, some of the lecturer just don't understand our questions at all. Some of the lecturer really have the enthusiasm, but not the communication skill.

After mentioning about communication skill, makes me feel guilty. Why? It's because I wasn't paying attention in class in these weeks. Between the lecturer and I, there must be some communication problems. As in my micro controller and micro processor subject, I don't understand a single thing what's the lecturer trying to explain. It's either my English is freakingly poor or just because of the "ultimate" slang of the lecturer. Most of the people will agree with the 2nd reason, I suppose? The main case that makes me salute him was the pronunciation of the word "father" to "pather". Obviously, I got a red underline under the word when I type the word "pather" in any of my program.

First Cooking Attempt, a name from Kenny, already mentioned that it's our first time in cooking. However, it's not my very first time but to somebody else --> Wyne, ya it is. It's normal though, as everyone just cook mee and egg in the house, isn't it, I suppose?

At first just both of the guys are cooking, but wyne decided to join us after my benevolent invitation.3 of us were playing inside the kitchen for over 1 hour, and finally we managed to turn something which I think it's respectable out. I'm not whether it's respectable or not. So you guys give me comments on it. And our kitchen, undeniable, is in a big mess. Hahaha ...

End Of Holidays

Well, before I forget, my result was bad. Everything was fine but just I got a bloody "B" for my algorithm and data structures. Doubt, how will my micro-controller and micro-processor going on in this semester? I do like programming but I am weak in that. Funny huh?

Finally, shifted all the things into my new house. I like my new house. However, have to start schooling back tomorrow. Not in the mood now. Kinda short holiday this time. 3 weeks of holidays just flied away like that. And I couldn't see some of my friends back. Sad. To these friends:

Ah... It's getting nearer and nearer. To what ? My result's releasing date. Kinda regret for not paying much efforts in my finals last time. Sad.

Surely, everyone including me will think that " If I got more time, I can study more... etc." However, confess, if I got more time, I will surely spend the time on somewhere else but not in my studies. Hahaha ......

Too bad. Our final exams were cascaded together. 4 exams in a week, and my MUET exams weren't included. Total up would be 6 exams in a week. Cheers ! And I forgot almost everything before my exams T_T

In fact, nights before the exams, everyone was like a "heavy-duty" battery. Some did not sleep for the whole night also. Salute! Really "heavy-durable". Ironically, I am not. Sad.

A War In My House

Hmp... it has been "ages" since the last time I post my blog. Kinda busy these days. Shifting things here and there, as my house is having a simple "renovation", in which it's painted.

Hahaha ... I was being a supervisor these days. Interesting huh ? I have never been a supervisor before. Cool. But true, those workers definitely need a supervisor since they were completing their task tardily. Meanwhile, it's necessarily to make sure they don't have an extra "hand".

Definitely, my house is in catastrophic condition. Ermm ... sorry for the misnomer. I don't know why nowadays I like the word "catastrophe". Maybe it's exaggerate enough ? Hehe. And what I was doing in previous few days basically were the chores, for instances , shifting the things, clean up the left over stuffs and rearranging items.

These are the things that are scattered in every single corner of my house. It's gonna take a long time to clean up the mess after they have finish the job. And until now it's only half way through the progress. Sad.

Well, I guess I have to go now. Thats all.

Final Days In Hostel

Hmp... I'm going to write this in English for today. At least, to make my blog viewable to everyone. Confess, this is going to be a laughter to the English pro's as frankly speaking, I am not well in writing English. Hence, dun mind ya !

Just marched through my very last exam today morning(ermm... just for this semester >.<). Wohoo! That should lighten me up. At least I'm free from "sadistic" exams right now, although I may be doomed in 3 weeks time from now. Hahaha ...

Seeing everyone was packing their belongings immediately after the exam, I think that they're just like me, sick of the dismay of the hostel.Just before I post this, my firefox has crashed for twice and the same thing goes infinitely on my ym. Hahaha ... interesting.The internet is just crappy and I can't find any better words to describe it.

Ironically, I've no regret of staying in hostel anyway. I've get to know some good friends and undergo some "unforeseen" situations,which most of them are ridiculous (you will understand when you are surrounded by INDIANS.) Sorry, but I don't mean to discriminate. Though, it's a good experience after all.

Just uploaded a song which I think it's quite nice. It may take quite some time to finish buffering it, so just be patient and check it out. Give me a feedback if you all like it and I'll upload more.

Well, squandered a lot of time here. That's all.There are more to come in upcoming weeks.

大考前夕

明天会更好，这句话用在我身上也似乎起不了什么劲。
一眯开惺忪的睡眼，一看到桌上一叠叠厚厚的纸，心里很不是滋味。人人说，压轴总是排在最后，我想是吧。
压轴？把我们压得喘不过气就有吧？

Engineering Maths 这个字眼，对每个人都熟悉吧！

有没有人试过看着一张纸也发呆了整整半个小时？我常常会这样，无奈啊！谁叫我数学毕竟不好？

但是，很矛盾的，我也很喜欢考试。我疯了吗？不，所谓柳暗花明，考试过了，就是每个人所向往的假期了。也证明我们又渡过了一个学期，也就这样又过了一年。
不知不觉中，又迈向2008一大关口了，自己也已经破了二十的大关了，就像歌曲所唱的：＂时间从指缝溜走。。。＂

有些人羡慕我说我成绩好（我觉得也没怎么好），相对的，这种时候就比别人辛苦，毕竟自己对自己的要求高。
也像古人的一句话：＂吃得苦中苦，方为人上人。＂
苦是吃了，成不成为人上人还是个未知数。

人并不贵在那骄人的成绩，而是那不败的精神。好，继续为明天冲刺吧！

怀念

一时兴起，想把自己的心情故事写下来，所以就开了这个BLOG。也可能是自己认为把心情写下来，也是一种抒发吧！
今天，跟一个旧朋友谈了半句钟后，让我突然怀念起中学时的生活。
一起玩乐，一起求学的生活。回忆起这些事，固然让我开心，亦让我感觉沉重。
心里也泛起一个问题：＂人是否要等到失去后才会懂得珍惜？＂

追溯起两个半年前我们在毕业的时候，每个人都说：＂有空要出来叙一叙旧哦！＂
那时候的我，也没有丝毫的感觉到低落，因为我明白我们还有见面的机会。
但占不到天时，地利与人和的情况下，很明显的，终究是一场空。

当每个人都为自己的未来做出选择的时候，不得不承认，我们都已经选择了离别。
人人说，回忆是幸福的，但我却觉得，回忆是刺痛的，因为当我们回忆起过去的时候，就是我们只能拥有回忆的时候。。。
突然的，我发现我自己最痛恨听到的一句话竟然是：＂珍重再见！＂

末了，须为期末考试做好准备。
